This past week, I had the opportunity to speak out on behalf of our community in two critical forums. At the Hands Off rally in Mamaroneck, I joined neighbors and local leaders to defend the foundations of our democracy. I spoke about how elections are won with unity. When we come together around shared values, when we speak up and show up, we push back against fear and division. Democracy only works when people stay engaged, and our collective voice is even more powerful than campaign checksas was demonstrated last week in Wisconsin. Later in the week, at the Con Edison rate case hearing, I urged the Public Service Commission to reject Con Ed's request for a rate hike.
