District 10 Update: May 30, 2024

Fortunately, Monday's Memorial Day rains did not cause flooding in District 10, but flood mitigation continues to be a top priority for me — it was even before I was elected. Solving flooding issues typically involves collaboration between different government agencies, especially when it crosses municipalities, and I am pleased that my office has been able to help facilitate. The dedication of HHREC in preserving the memory of the Holocaust and promoting human rights education in our community is truly inspiring. Their commitment to combating hate and fostering tolerance, dignity, and compassion is crucial, especially in times when these values can be overshadowed by individual expression. This event was a poignant reminder of the principles we all should uphold—whether we are students, teachers, parents, or neighbors. I encourage you to watch the video  to experience the ceremony and absorb its important message. Please check out my weekly updat...
